Simon developed an interest in programming in the second grade, when he took a class in HTML at his school. After interning at OpenSourcery in the summer of 2009 through the ASE program, he came back the following year for a part-time job as a QA tester.
In addition to developing programs on his own, Simon's other interests include science fiction and internet memes. He is currently in high school, taking classes at the Stanford Online High School.
