In early 2012, Jason traded the Rocky Mountains, Platte River and numerous microbrews of Denver for the Cascade Mountains, Willamette River and numerous microbrews of Portland to join OpenSourcery. He has a long history of development in a variety of languages and technologies, but is most passionate about Drupal because of its power, flexibility and amazing community.

Jason has helped coordinate DrupalCon Denver 2012 (Catering Coordinator) and DrupalCon Portland 2013 (Community Track Chair). He has also presented at a number of Drupal events including DrupalCamp Colorado, Bay Area DrupalCamp, Pacific Northwest Drupal Summit and regional Drupal meetups around the world. While in Denver, he led the Denver Drupal meetup and currently leads the Portland Drupal user group.

Along with his drive for crafting great code, Jason is obsessed with all aspects of food and food science. He is also the only professional Drupal developer to have cooked at the prestigious James Beard house.
