Nothing inspires John's writing more than a good rainy day, which, believe it or not, there are few of in Arizona. So in 2012, John moved north to explore the many coffee shops and wet afternoons that Portland has to offer.

John has spent several years exploring both professional and recreational writing. He has worked for two Arizona-based newspapers, has twice competed in the U.S. National Poetry Slam, and recently self-published a young adult novel. John has been writing copy since 2011.
