OpenSourcery welcomes Sean Larkin
OpenSourcery is pleased to welcome Sean Larkin to the team as project manager. Before coming on board with OpenSourcery, Sean ran his own web consulting company, specializing in the custom design and implementation of web sites using Drupal - a powerful collaborative content management and web-authoring platform. In addition to his technical skills, Sean rounds out the OpenSourcery team with ten years of highly diverse nonprofit leadership. Among other activities, he has led national community organizing initiatives, coordinated international relief projects, and served as a fundraising strategist for environmental and civic groups working in the United States and abroad. Sean also holds a master of public administration (MPA) degree from Syracuse University's Maxwell School, where he studied as a Jon Ben Snow Fellow for Nonprofit Management in 2000 and 2001.
When not evangelizing the benefits of open sourceOpen source software is computer software for which the human-readable source code is made available under a copyright license (or arrangement such as the public domain) that meets the Open Source Definition., Sean can usually be found paddling whitewater - having worked as a raft guide and kayaking instructor in Oregon, Washington, California, West Virginia and New York.
