Drupal video upload module in Beta release
After several weeks in development, OpenSourcery's head Drupal developer Jonathan Hedstrom's video upload module is now in Beta release. Download the module here.
Developers and Drupal users can find the official release here.
Non-techies, however, might better appreciate the video module this way:
For end users whose websites were created in Drupal, uploading video has never been easier or leaner. That's because you can now upload video directly to YouTube without the content without weighing down your Drupal host, which allows you to avoid storage and bandwidth bottleneck issues. Now sites with multiple users can act as the video portal, rather than sending users off to YouTube to upload individually. Drupal (on the strength of Jonathan's new module) does the work for you.
OpenSourcery would like to thank the OneEconomy network for helping to sponsor the module so we could return the useful code back to the community. Look for a Drupal 6 update soon.
